Step 1:
Adventure Awaits, Let the Journey Begin
Week of August 25th to 31st
Introduction
Welcome to our ongoing series about our streaming and gaming adventures. We’ll focus on Minecraft and the world/story we are building there as well as some base building and simulation games.
In this initial post, we’ll cover some projects across games. As we go along we’ll go deeper into those projects, thoughts behind them, and wins/losses/lessons learned as we progress through the projects. We’ll also go into more detail, including amounts of resources used, estimates of time involved, and any other stats that might be interesting.
Our Minecraft builds are organized by size and complexity and referred to as: lore, series , book, chapter, page, paragraph, sentence, word. The builds are back by a story. The current projects are:
Lore:
Haven's End
Garden Temple
Dyson ring
Book:
Overmorrow
Inkwood
Barters' Bay
Series:
Inkwood Library
Yet to be start book level:
Oasis City
Ashfern forest
Golden temple
Overmorrow
Overmorrow is a ~513 diameter half circle set against the Horizon wall (an evergreen project). It’s at the center of the world. There are no builds north of the wall.
Inkwood
A much smaller town compared to Overmorrow, at least on the surface. Inkwood has a magic well, that leads to its library, a project larger than Overmorrow. It represent the idea of not judging a book by it’s cover.
Haven’s End
Haven’s End is a 1000 x 1000 area city in the middle time. It will be full of life, greenery, a haven from the harsh world outside the city’s magic walls. The walls are no ordinary walls, they only let those seeking safety enter. The cardinal directions are color coded and subdivided into 100 x 100 sections.
Camera Roll Catch-up
Some random screen shots to help us get caught up to today’s progress. We’ll include a few in each post until we’re caught up.

Inspiration
We’ve also been playing Satisfactory and Planet Crafter for variety and inspiration.
Satisfactory
We’re building a hub and spoke factory. Pictured is the sky elevator. We’ll start tracking milestones and phases in future posts.
Planet Crafter
In Planet Crafter we’re building a tower base. We’re using metal foundations as roads, and figuring out how to make large equipment look likes its inside when it doesn’t fit in a habitat unit. For example here we have a water collector we’ve surrounded with habitat and put in a glass floor to look down on.
Schedule (loose)
Each stream the start time varies and we plan to stream for about 1 hour per game. We’ll continue this schedule while we are able too. Want to join the journey? Follow us here on substack and come watch on Twitch or TikTok
